CHRISTMAS OUTREACHES OUR CHRISTMAS OUTREACH PROGRAMS WILL BEGIN THIS WEEK!
-Pick up an “ornament” from the Sharing Tree and bringing the unwrapped gift to the Little Church or Parish Center by Thursday, December 13. Gifts will be given to PRISM for their Holiday Toy Shoppe.
-Help out at PRISM’s Holiday Shop on Saturday, December 15. To volunteer, please email Kevin Lytle at firstname.lastname@example.org.
-Help organize and deliver the Mission Nursing home Christmas gifts the week of December 17. Donate frozen hams or turkeys for PRISM families. They can be placed in the white chest freezer by the little kitchen at the Parish Center.
-Adopt a Family/Person for Christmas. St. Joseph will be partnering with PRISM’s Rapid Rehousing staff to help those transitioning from homelessness to their own place. Wish lists will help guide us to most needed items for individuals, family gifts and household items. Please see the Adopt-a-Family tree in the Parish Center Gathering Space and pick up a tag to shop for an individual or a family.
-Not able to do the shopping yourself? Donations can be mailed to or dropped off at the Parish Office (Attn: Jason). Please put “Christmas Families” in the memo. Shoppers are also needed for a special shopping trip the evening of Sunday, December 16. We will also have a wrapping party on Monday, December 17 at 12:30pm to get all Adopt-a-Family gifts organized and prepared for pickup.
-The letters for those buying a gift for a resident at the Mission Nursing Home will be mailed this week. Thank you to all who help make these Christmas Outreach ministries possible through their generous contributions!
