Abstinence and Fasting Practices:
Days of Abstinence (No Meat): Ash Wednesday, all Fridays of Lent and Good Friday (midnight to midnight) for all who have reached their 15th birthday
(Canon 1252).
Days of Fasting: Ash Wednesday and Good Friday for all who are 18 - 59 years old (limit one full meatless meal and two smaller meals as needed to preserve strength).
